What is wrong Americans?

I am an American by birth. But the older I get the more I do not think it is "cool" to be American. I used to have lots of patriotism. Lately how can I? Today on Facebook I saw a friend of mine post something like, "very pleased with the Senate's opinion of The House Healthcare Bill..."Dead on Arrival"! Please continue to contact your Congressman and Senator to tell them how much we do not want this. True Healthcare needs reform, but not this Socialist approach!" What does he mean, Socialist approach? In almost every other country in the world they have some type of Socialist approach to the Nationwide healthcare Plan. It has seemed to work in every other country, why would this not work in America? The problem with the USA is we all want to pretend that if we go to church on Sundays and sometimes Wednesdays, that we are good people. That is what is wrong with Christianity in this country also. Now lets mix together our messed up religious (christianity) views with our totally messed up government and now you have yourself George Dubya Bush.

But yes I do agree that the HealthPlan that Obama had in store for us would have totally been terrible. Like I have said before, we need someone from Canada, Europe, or even France to come over and show us how to put together a good health plan. For I believe everyone is entitled to health care, Do you know how many Americans out there were making a great living and had insurance but then the economy plummets and now they have no job and no insurance. Or the volunteer crews at the twin towers, now their health is so bad they cannot work, so they do not have insurance and the government said sorry you were not our payroll so no healthcare for you, thesse people risked their livees to save total strangers and the government never told them to go home but now our own people and government are going to let these people die in pain and agony....They deserve much better!" ]another guys from high school replied with this ["@Elijah - Any idea how many people CHOOSE (that right that we have in this the greatest country anywhere) NOT to have health care? Now I know and understand completely why a Nationwide Health Plan would not work in the USA. It is because as Americans most of us are completely and utterly spoiled fucking brats! As I approached the golden age of 18 my senior year in high school, my parents and I were talking about college, now I will say that my parents were not poor, but definitely not rich or even well off. My parents were young and really just starting life as I was looking at college, my parents said well now that you are 18 and graduated, have fun paying for college and you need to find a place of your own. Well I worked two jobs, one full time from 6:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. then I would have to run home, shower, change and then head out to be at my other job by 5:00 p.m. just to work until 11:00 p.m. to run home and go to sleep to do it all over the next day. One of these jobs I even worked on Saturday and Sunday. I had my own house that I rented for about $500 a month and my car which was about $200 a month. Then also the normal bills, elec, gas, water/sewer, food, car insurance, etc. Now I know that did not have enough to pay for the insurance that my full time job offered me. If they had taken any money out of my check for that I would have either not eaten or lived in a box. Last time I checked $500 a month is not very expensive for a house. Yes it was old and ran down and had shag carpeting, but it was mine, well I rented it. But really, I would have had to move into the worst section of town to try to survive and afford rent. Oh and being a white male all the while didn't help out the situation. I have struggled to SURVIVE, not live, but survive. When you are surviving......there is no money for insurance or healthcare. But then also I made to much and was a white male with no children, so the government isn't going to help. But now if I went and got 3 poor women knocked up and had 3 kids and sold drugs then the government would give me some type of insurance and probably even food stamps.
But the real problem is the people with money...ie...spoiled bratty people are the ones that have more push or pull in the government. and they make remarks such as quote"Any idea how many people CHOOSE (that right that we have in this the greatest country anywhere) NOT to have health care? Do I have to pay for something that someone doesn't choose to have?" end quote Well these people do not understand that the USA has more middle class citizens than any other class of people. In the middle class you are considered poor enough to receive help, but you can barely afford healthcare for your family. But these rich spoiled brats have so much money that they have the government put a cap on how much of their salary can be taxed? Damn all of my salary is taxed. I own a small business. I am taxed up and down the street on every single penny my business makes. How is that fair that if you make over $120,000 a year they will only tax you on the first $100k or so and the rest is yours tax free? But the middle class man can barely afford to keep his family surviving? So these spoiled ass brats have no clue what it is like to have to bust your ass for anything. Mommy and Daddy bought them a brand new car at 16 then another brand new BMW for graduating college, the whole they paid for the college. What about these kids that have student loans and a car payment and have to pay for their living expenses also? Well these kids are doomed to failure. It will never happen for them, most likely. It takes one hell of a strong person to fight from the low or lower middle class to rise above the lower middle classification. Even when they do rise above it is hard for them to afford health insurance because health insurance is a bigger scam than car insurance, you know I have paid car insurance since I was 16, lets see up until 21 it was about $100 a month, that is $6000 just between 16 and 21. Now it has been at least $40 a month from 21 to 31....Holy Shit (never really figured it out before) that is another $4800. Now together that is $10,800 I have paid into automobile insurance, I have had one accident my whole life, I totaled my first car....It was worth $2000 maybe. So over $8000 of my money has been paid toward what? Someone elses accidents....Oh yeah it is no longer called an accident any more, it is a wreck. So basically that $8000 has went to pay for someone else's stupidity b/c they cannot drive. What is the difference with healthcare? Just a small tax increase...I mean I am a very healthy person, I haven't been to a doctor for being sick in over 3 years, before that it was 8 years. Why should I have to pay so much for healthcare when I hardly go to the doctor? Why.....because I have to pay for the other people that can afford insurance when they get sick. So now that I am already paying for someones health, but only because they CAN afford insurance what about the guy that got laid off a few months ago that has 2 kids? He can no longer afford insurance but he sure does need it. Oh and because of the money that he made last year the government says he does not qualify for insurance. Well now when he gets a job and new insurance, now they do not have to cover certain things b/c they will say they were pre-existing. What kind of fucking country is this? I thought we were the "Home of the brave and land of the free."? I guess we are brave when we send other peoples children over seas to fight a war for the Bush family. why not send the Bush family over there to fight and bring home all the guys! Why, because the Bush family borrowed money from Alquida and Bin Laden to start their venture in the oil business and now they are in the upper upper class. so they are now controlling the middle and lower class. Now the middle and lower class kids must go over seas.......

Basically what I am getting at is that for all these fucking bratty, spoiled kids that are grown ups now do not know how bad it is to struggle to survive. So they think everyone is out to get their money. Not true. I just feel that everyone deserves medical care. Damn Republicans are the fall of democracy and the beginning to a Communist Country. Oh wait it says it in their political views....Democrats = Democracy Republicans = Republic of China, Republic of Russia, Republic of Cuba. all the countries the republicans try to scare us from and make us hate are what the Republicans are. WOW!
